I NEED A BOOK NOW!!

Dear Next Great Book,
I LOVE to read but I can't find the right book.  I have read lots of good books like Wonderstruck, The Dreamstealer, and My Life As a Book.  I am just stuck now with what to read next.  I hope you can help me!
Your Friend,
I NEED A BOOK NOW!!!!

Dear Need a Book Now,
Finding the right book after reading some really good ones can be really difficult.  The problem is that you don't want to be disappointed now that you have read great books.  Don't worry we think we have put together a great list with books that will get you reading in no time!  How about trying:

  • My Life as a Stuntboy: This is the sequel to My Life as a Book.  We like it just as much - some of us think it is even better that the first book.  It is a story of friendship and it is filled with humor and the same great drawing as My Life as a Book.  We know you will not be able to put it down and if you liked the first book you will LOVE this one!
  • Out of My Mind: This is an amazing story of a girl who is brilliant and yet no one know because she can not talk and she can not walk.  You will love learning about her life as she learns, makes friends and never once gives up.  It is a great book.  You will laugh at sections, maybe cry and even yell at some of the things some of the characters do in this book.  ENJOY!
  • Rules: This is a story about an autistic boy and his family.  It tells the tale of how they each deal with some of the difficult parts of is disability.  All of the characters grow and change and you will learn a ton about an important issue and about people in general.
  • Wonder: My teacher thinks this might be the best book of 2012, so far.  It is the story of a boy who is born with a terribly deformed face.  He is going into fifth grade and going to school for the very first time.  It is a great book about growing up and learning to do what you know is right.  It is cool because it is told from the point of view of 8 different characters so you get to her the story from lots of different voices.  We guarantee that you will LOVE it!
Pleas let us know if you like one or all of these books.
Happy Reading,
Next Great Book :)
